Scott Richard Sherron, MD

I have been practicing in the Houston Medical Center since 2008.  My practice is primarily office-based but I admit and perform interventional procedures at Houston Methodist.  

My focus is on preventative medicine and cardiac screening for all types of heart disease as well as women’s heart health and obstectrical cardiology.  I am also board certified in Sleep medicine and it has become an active part of my practice.  I continue to perform numerous elective cardiac catheterizations and stent procedures, but the majority of my time is spent in the office.  

I believe and take joy in explaining the underlying mechanisms of symptoms and spending time answering questions about diseases and test results.  I firmly believe that the giving of information and understanding can be more important than any medication or stent or surgery.
