Raghu Kolluri, MD
About
Raghu Kolluri, MD, is the system medical director of Vascular Medicine at OhioHealth, where he is responsible for the noninvasive vascular medicine service line across 10 hospitals. He is also the medical director of 12 vascular labs across the OhioHealth system. Dr. Kolluri is currently the treasurer of the Society of Vascular Medicine.
After graduating from Armed Forces Medical College, India, Dr. Kolluri completed his internal medicine residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, followed by vascular medicine fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic. He went on to develop and regionalize a noninvasive vascular medicine service line and vascular labs at Hospital Sisters Health System and Prairie Cardiovascular in Illinois. He also developed and served as the director of SynvaCor, a core wound lab for several multinational critical limb ischemia trials, before moving back to Columbus.
Dr. Kolluri is the associate director of the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics conference. As the topic coordinator for vascular, prevention and hypertension sessions at the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Kolluri transitioned vascular topics to disease-based sessions from 2008 through 2011. In 2011, he also co-founded the VEINS meeting (Venous Endovascular INterventional Stragegics), which has developed into a premier venous meeting. In 2015, he developed the Society for Vascular Medicine Fellows review course. He serves as reviewer for several cardiovascular journals and is on the editorial board of Vascular Medicine
Dr. Kolluri has been an invited speaker at several vascular and wound conferences. His clinical and research interests include noninvasive testing, critical limb ischemia and chronic venous disease. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the field of vascular medicine.
