Monica Sanchez Shields, MD FACC

Dr. Monica Sanchez Shields is a cardiologist practicing at Houston Methodist Hospital. Before private practice, she was a faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine (2014-2018). Dr. Sanchez Shields is well published in leading cardiology journals and has presented at national meetings. She is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.  The focus of her practice is general cardiology with a special interest in prevention and noninvasive imaging.
