About Me
As a cardiac surgeon, I primarily see patients with complex problems. I aim to take care of their cardiac surgical issues with solutions that have minimum risk and maximum benefit. Every patient is different and it’s important to tailor each patient’s care to their individual needs. It’s a privilege to be a surgeon and to take care of patients using advanced techniques and technology. I perform all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, excluding transplantation. I have particular expertise in anaortic, total-arterial off-pump coronary bypass surgery and the management of patients with complex valvular heart problems using transcatheter and open heart surgical techniques.
Having recently moved to Ohio from Australia, I’m really enjoying The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. The variety and complexity of the work is both stimulating and challenging, and the quality of patient care and the dedication of the staff is inspiring.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books on history and politics, and playing golf.
