Biography
Michael O. McBride, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Medical School in 1997. Dr. McBride then went on to complete his residency at the University of Texas, Houston, and his fellowship in Heart Transplant and Assist devices, as well as Thoracic Surgery at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston.
Before joining Southwest Cardiothoracic Surgeons, he was in private practice in Waco, TX. He is a member of many professional societies including the Houston Surgical Society, Denton A. Cooley Cardiovascular Society and the McLennan County Medical Association.
