Kelley Hutcheson, MD

Dr. Hutcheson is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive mitral valve surgery, minimally invasive atrial fibrillation surgery, and coronary artery bypass grafting. She completed her medical school training at the prestigious Duke University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her General Surgery fellowship at the top-ranked Duke University Hospital program before proceeding on to Washington University in St. Louis to complete her Cardiothoracic Surgery training. Dr. Hutcheson actively participates in national clinical research trials, gives presentations at national meetings, and publishes results in Peer-Reviewed journals. She is also a member of the multidisciplinary heart team providing comprehensive heart care through specialty clinics including the Valve clinic and the Surgical Ablation clinic.
 
Dr. Hutcheson is fluent in Spanish offering patient consultations to Spanish-speaking patients. She also participates in international medical missions. Dr. Hutcheson currently serves as Medical Director of Coronary Revascularization at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - Plano. She also maintains hospital privileges at BSW The Heart Hospital - Denton and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Plano.
